9. PRIVACY POLICY

- The dunhill On-Line Store is committed to protecting the privacy of its Customers by providing a secure On-Line Store for electronic commerce transactions and is registered to hold personal data under the Data Protection Act 1998.

- Children under the age of 18 should not send any information about themselves and should not register with the On-Line Store or to receive further information from Alfred Dunhill Ltd. Should We discover or be informed that a child has registered his/her personal details, We will delete such information.

- Note to Parents. Alfred Dunhill will not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18. If, as a parent, You wish to find out if Your child has registered for one of Our services, or wish to cancel Your child's registration, please contact Us at customer.services@dunhill.com.

- When ordering products from the dunhill On-Line Store, You will be asked to provide personal information including Your name, delivery address, telephone number, product selections as well as payment card details ("Personal Information"). Any Personal Information you make available to Alfred Dunhill is done so voluntarily, with Your knowledge and consent when ordering items or registering for services from Alfred Dunhill. Registration forms contain both mandatory fields (indicated with an asterisk (*)) and non-mandatory fields; if You choose not to complete the mandatory fields then Alfred Dunhill may not be able to respond to Your request or activate Your option choices.

- Personal Information provided by You will be used to process Your orders and will be made accessible to duly authorised Alfred Dunhill personnel and occasionally to persons or companies who carry out internal operations in relation to Our business. Your Personal Information is collected with Your knowledge and express authorisation upon opening a dunhill On-Line Store account. Consequently, some of this information will be shared with Our On-Line business partners and, in particular, HSBC, DHL, Kuehne-Nagel and, if You have activated options to receive further communications from Alfred Dunhill, Our CRM partner Prestige.

- Whilst Alfred Dunhill has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure that its On-Line business partners will handle your Personal Information in a secure and proper manner, Alfred Dunhill cannot be held responsible for the failure by any of such partners to deal with Your Personal Information in accordance with its legal obligations. Consequently, Customers are advised that they may wish to refer to these companies' and their credit card companies' policies in relation to the protection of their Personal Information since they may use other members of their respective companies and/or third parties (in jurisdictions where there may be less stringent data protection laws) to process information on their behalf in relation to their credit card transactions.

- Personal Information provided by You at the time of making an order may also be used by Us and by HSBC to check details with fraud protection agencies. Furthermore Your Personal Information will be used by HSBC to process payment of the order, handle credit checks and fraud prevention and by DHL to ensure proper delivery.

- Furthermore, if You have activated the consent box, Your Personal Information will be used to send You information on Our products, promotions and events We feel may be of interest to You and may be used for marketing research purposes relating to Alfred Dunhill's business. It will not be used for any unsolicited communications to You unless so authorised. Alfred Dunhill will use its best endeavours to ensure that such Your Personal Information is kept secure at all times. Other than to its business partners as set out above, Alfred Dunhill does not sell, rent or otherwise make available any Personal Information relating to its online Customers to other third parties unless to its legal advisors or if required to do so by law. Upon request, Alfred Dunhill will remove Your Personal Information from its database thereby cancelling Your online account.

- You may access Your account details via the dunhill On-Line Store using Your password and account login and correct any erroneous information concerning Your Personal Information. Furthermore, You are solely responsible for maintaining and updating Your personal details and ensuring that this information is current and complete.
